Overview
Figma, WordPress, Slack, PageSpeed Insights, BrowserStack 28 Haven provides in-home care services for aged and disabled individuals. The goal of this project was to create a user-friendly website that is accessible to the target audience while improving the overall UI design.
The Need
The previous website lacked proper structure, making navigation difficult. Accessibility issues, such as low contrast and poor typography. It was hard for users to read and interact with the content. The challenge was to design a clear and easily accessible interface.

STEP 1
Planning & Wireframing
After analyzing the target audience's needs and limitations, I created a sitemap and wireframe to simplify navigation including provided information. A few modifications were done before approval and forwarded to design.
STEP 2
Design
The UI design focused on high-contrast colors and legible typography to improve readability. Spacing and button sizes were adjusted for easy interaction. I ensured a smooth user experience for all visitors.

STEP 3
Development
The site was built on WordPress for flexibility and scalability. I followed the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and SEO best practices during development.
STEP 4
Usability Testing & Refinement
A usability test was conducted to validate the design choices. Feedback was collected and applied to improve accessibility, readability, and overall user experience. The improved contrast, typography, and layout enhance usability for aged and disabled individuals.
